Blue Light, or High Energy Visible Light (HEV) is not blocked by the Ozone Layer or the human eye. As a result it penetrates deep into the eye, all the way to the Retina. Main sources of HEV are the sun, computers, tables, smart phones and other electronic devices. Blue Light Blocking filters out the most damaging High Energy Blue Light.
